Pediatric-Focused Training for Childcare Professionals

Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C

Delivery:

Blended (Online learning + 1 day in person)-

Self-paced 7 hours of online learning followed by approximately 8 hours in in-class skills training. (Most Preferred due to flexibility)

  1. Topics Covered

    How to prepare for emergencies and approach them

    CPR on adults (level A) and adults/children (level C)

    Choking - Adult/Baby

    Respiratory emergencies including asthma attacks, hyperventilation, aspiration and allergic reactions (anaphylaxis)

    Heart attacks, angina, strokes, and other circulatory emergencies

    Deadly bleeding

    Fractures and broken bones

    Head and neck injuries.

    Automated External Defibrillator (AED) device

  2. Certification

    Valid for 3 Years.

  • Yes. Participants receive an official Canadian Red Cross certificate, valid for 3 years.

  • Absolutely. We specialize in on-site group training anywhere in Ontario. You only need a suitable space for practice.

  • The Standard First Aid & CPR (Level C) course takes one in person skills training day + a 7 hour online portion

  • Standard covers infant, child, and adult emergencies in more detail. This is the one required for ECE.

  • Up to 18 participants per instructor. We can schedule multiple sessions for larger teams.

  • Yes. We offer flexible scheduling — evenings and weekends available at no extra cost.

  • Pricing depends on group size. Most centres pay a flat rate for up to 10–18 participants.
